When intuition gets loud and creates a whole new life
Have you ever reached that point where your career looks brilliant on the outside, but feels like an emotional flatline on the inside? My guest, the vibrant and soulful Jo Chidwick, knows that feeling only too well.
After 30 years in the corporate world – leading global marketing for major IT brands – Jo found herself exhausted, disconnected from joy, and realising she’d drifted miles away from the parts of her work that once lit her up.
And like so many of us, her wake-up call came from a quiet but persistent voice inside whispering, “Is this really it?”
In this uplifting episode, Jo shares how she moved from autopilot to alignment; from relentless meetings to running meaningful retreats; and how a single stay in France planted the first seeds of a brand-new life. Today she splits her time between the UK and France, running soulful, holistic retreats that help people rest, reconnect, and rediscover who they are.
This conversation is warm, hopeful, full of giggles, and beautifully honest and it might just spark something inside you too. Come join us.
In this episode we discuss:
- The “wake-up moments” that told Jo her corporate life was no longer right for her
- Why attending a retreat gave her the confidence to imagine running her own
- How she experimented with ideas and gave herself time — instead of rushing into her next chapter
- The practical steps (and happy coincidences!) that helped her start her retreat business
- How she curates deeply restorative retreats full of connection, nature, creativity and choice
- Jo’s biggest lessons on intuition, patience, and building a support network that truly gets you
Come dive into this joyful and nourishing conversation, and if Jo’s story sparks something for you, please share it with someone who needs a little encouragement to believe in new possibilities for their own life.
