Reclaim your joy, on your terms
Do you ever feel like you’re at the bottom of a never-ending to-do list that’s full of other people’s priorities and tasks?
That was exactly where my guest, Nicola Cameron, found herself. A solicitor by profession, Nicola had built a life that looked successful from the outside, but underneath she was completely disconnected from her own wants and needs.
After literally Googling “how do you know who you are?”, Nicola began an incredible transformation. Today, she’s still a solicitor by day, but by night she’s a published romance author with 11 novellas to her name (under her pen name Mia Coco Lanner), and she sings, dances and performs in musical theatre too!
In this episode we discuss:
- How Nicola went from a people-pleasing solicitor to a published author and performer
- The pivotal moment she realised she’d lost sight of herself and what she did next
- The powerful tools she learnt through coaching – including “Magic Wand”, “Is That True?”, and “Shackles On, Shackles Off”
- How she built courage through small steps and shifted her mindset from productivity to joy
- Why giving yourself permission to do what you love can transform your energy, creativity and confidence
- How Nicola now balances a professional career with writing, performing, and living a life that lights her up
Come and join us as Nicola shares how she let go of guilt, perfectionism and other people’s expectations to create a “first-class life” designed around her joy.
